Yep, the store that was the cause of me uprooting my life in Atlanta, moving two states over with two frazzled cats and a ever-calm boyfriend, and my reason for not being in WoW nearly as much as I had been, is now finally open. /dies
For those that are interested in the whole morbid thing, here’s a link to pics on how we went from this to this.
And now if you all will excuse me, I’ll be up to my eyeballs with attempting to hire one more person and not be completely dead from exhaustion by the end of the week. ^^;

Congrats, and good luck! That is quite a project…
Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! Pick me!
Please forgive my ignorance, as I am new to your blog. Do you own this store? Either way, it looks absolutely wonderful!
Wow, congratulations!! It looks absolutely great, and I loved watching the transformation through the series of photos. Good luck with the hiring, too. I hope everything goes smoothly as the place gets going.
that is great! best of luck with your store, that is actually my wife and of course mine too, to have our own store…take care!
Woot! Congrats Rav! The place looks awesome! Do you guys have an website? Can I buy stuff online?
Wow!!!
Congratulations, I hope the bookstore really works out for you.
Mostly because I love books and am hoping to get into publishing (from either end, writing for fun now and possibly the business end once my Master’s is finished)…. but mostly because I love books.
And if you do online orders, I may have to send my occasional business your way. I have ACTUAL shelves at my new apartment and they need to be filled with all manner of cool books!
Or a couple of cool pens. Or both.
@Seid - Thanks! Really pleased with how it came out.
And thanks for the good luck!
@ Teh Khol - Oh you know I’d pick you, but you don’t live in town so I had to pick someone else. /sob
@Dave - My mom is actually part owner with a friend of hers. She runs one in another town while i run this one. Thanks for the complement and welcome to the blog.
@Ess - Thanks! Fortunately the hiring went well and I have a good crew now.
A few bobbles at the beginning, but they got worked through fast.
@sean - Thanks!
@Bre - Sadly hon, no website. So you can’t buy anything online. (But talk to me later, we might be able to work something out)
@Track - Like I told Bre, sadly, no website so no online orders (but if yer realllly determined, talk to me later
)
